Aims and scope
VASCULAR ACCESS, the official peer-reviewed journal of the Australian Vascular Access Society (AVAS), advances research and education in the emerging multi-disciplinary vascular access specialty.
The multidisciplinary membership of AVAS advances research, professional and public education to shape practice and enhance patient outcomes, and partners with the device manufacturing community to bring about evidence-based innovations in vascular access.
Recognised as the Australian national authority in vascular access, AVAS is dedicated to exceeding the public’s expectations of excellence by setting the standard for vascular access care.
VASCULAR ACCESS presents new research, clinical reviews, case studies, product innovations, professional development information and product advertisements on an electronic platform.
Established in 2015, the ejournal is published twice yearly in April and October and distributed to AVAS members as part of their membership. Subscriptions to the journal are also available.
