Dear members and colleagues

We are pleased to announce a significant development within our professional community. After careful consideration and extensive discussions, we have decided to amalgamate ACCYPN’s Journal of Children and Young People’s Health and MCaFHNA’s Australian Journal of Child and Family  Health Nursing into a single, comprehensive publication.

This merger reflects our commitment to providing you with the highest quality content and fostering a stronger, more unified community. The new journal, titled Journal of Children and Young People’s Health, will combine the strengths of both previous publications, offering a broader range of topics, more diverse perspectives, and increased visibility within our field.

Key benefits of the amalgamation

  • Enhanced Content: By pooling our resources, we can offer a more robust selection of articles, research and insights that reflect the full spectrum of our profession.
  • Greater Reach: The unified journal will have a larger audience, increasing the impact and dissemination of your work.
  • Streamlined Access: Members will have access to all content under one platform, making it easier to stay informed and engaged.

We are confident that this amalgamation will better serve your needs and contribute to the continued advancement of our profession. The first issue of the new Journal of Children and Young People’s Health will be published on 29 August, and we encourage you to submit your research, articles and reviews.

We are excited about this new chapter and look forward to your continued support and contributions.

Thank you for being a valued member of our community.

Warm regards

Yvonne and Louise
